Junk. Pure and simple.
Everything about this elliptical is shoddy. Wobbling: I expected it to wobble some because of its size and light weight - previous reviewers had prepared me for this. However, it wobbles so much, even when you get going, that it feels like you are about to fall over. It shakes so violently that the magazine stand cannot hold a book, tablet, or anything else. Whatever you put on it will fall off. In fairness, I am a weightlifter and a big guy. Maybe it works better for smaller folk? Durability: terrible. I had to keep all the original assembly tools around to re-re-repair the thing and reattach parts that fall off. Yes, you read that correctly. The pedals have come off numerous times during use. You are doing your thing and then next thing you know your foot is on the floor and the pedal has flown off somewhere. One of the main reasons I stopped using it was because I feared an injury. Also, it leaks. There was a large grease stain under the machine from leaks from the gears. Fortunately, some enzyme pet stain remover applied several times got it mostly removed. (For credibility's sake I will point out that I build my own computers, rewired my house, and have assembled numerous pieces of furniture myself, so I know what I am doing.) Workout programs: I don't trust the electronic tracker. My usual routine when I used the ellipticals at work was to do 2 miles horizontal, 1 mile elevation. At near-highest resistance, this took 45 minutes. I don't trust the machine to tell me I am doing 1 mile in 15 minutes. Then again, there is no discernible resistance scale or setting - you just pick from a list of topography emulations. I have tried giving the thing away to my petite friends, but none of them will take the thing. In short, you get what you pay for. It didn't work out this time.Read More
The elliptical is excellent. We weren't looking for anything too over the top. For the price and quality I don't think you can find much better. If your an extreme users I'd suggest investing in a elliptical in a higher price range.Read More
