"Would this product work to seal the end of an automatic cover on an inground pool? How does it seal? Will it stay put? Will it be easy to take off without leaving a mark? My cover has a small gap - big enough for lots of junk to get into the pool over the winter. I was thinking about putting water bags at the end but this looked like it might be neater."

Hello Bonnie, it creates a tight seal around the top rail of your pool and cover creating a strong bond that prevents winter weather from entering the pool. This will not work on a in ground pool. It is only meant for above ground pools. Thank you for shopping with us! Terri D.
