Simple, but effective. I used it only 5 minutes per day at first, and it really strengthened by legs. Bike riding became a lot easier. Great machine for the price.
Just keep in mind this is a very SIMPLE piece of equipment. you step on and use your own weight as you climb. It's sturdy but there are no monitors or anything like that. If you are looking for a very simple piece that you just climb then this is for you. If you're looking for all the bells and whistles then look else where. some of the pieces look welded together but I get on it and climb and it gives me a workout. You can use ankle weights also if you need to but again this is very simple to put together and simple to use.you can use the lower handles if you don't want to work your arms and just want to work your legs or you can climb using the handles that go up and down.
