So far so good! We took delivery back in April, I wanted to wait a few months to post a review given some of the issues other purchases have had. We experienced no issues with shipping and the delivery man assisted in getting the unit to the deck in the back yard. So far this hot tub has proven an excellent buy. The fiberglass shell is very heavy, well made with an even thickness. Although probably not what I would pick given the choice, the dark blue finish is gorgeous. We chose the redwood color cabinet and together they are beautiful. The cabinet is a fade proof, durable and attractive material, no wood to rot. Access to the plumbing and pumps is excellent. The top that comes with the unit seems to be of an excellent quality as well. We have had no issues with the controls, setting up or using this hot tub. My husband is in it on a regular basis. There are several jet flow adjustments on the tub. The foot/calf blaster is amazing. Several of the jets are directional to accommodate shorter or taller individuals. We are using neither traditional chlorine nor bromine as they both are harmful to and shorten the life of the pumps, jets and finish plus unfriendly to swimsuits and skin. We have been using "Nature 2 Mineral" spa sticks and supplies as recommended with great success. No red eyes, or itchy, chalky skin and the tub is properly sanitized and clean. Considering the high quality, included color changing LED lights, ozonator, and hot tub cover this is really a lot of bang for your buck. I highly recommend.
We bought this about 6 weeks ago. Very easy transaction, we got a great deal on Overstock even used a coupon!! Delivery was about 3 weeks after we purchased it. 2 men moved it to where we wanted removed all packing and put the cover on. Since the initial setup we've used it 3-5x a week! The jets are just perfect for us, I can see where it could get slightly cramped with more than 2-3 people. You will get to know your local spa store, just getting the chemicals balanced. It's not difficult but does take a little chemistry. It does not come with a starter pack of chemicals. :(. Hence a few trips to the spa store to get what we needed. I would highly recommend getting one!! We LOVE ours!!!
Because of the nature of it being a plug in hot tub, it takes longer to heat up and the jets are not as powerful as a hot tub wired in. For our needs, however, it is perfect, It did not break the bank, it was/is a good stater tub, looks nice, easy to maintain.
This is a cute pool toy and it's lasted a few years. Kudos for durability. However, it is no where near worth over XXX XXXXXXX bucks. More like fifty or less. Anyone paying more will feel cheated. I paid XXXXXXX bucks at a chain discount store that I consider sImilar in nature to overstock.
