American Spa is made by Cal Spa - that's the first gold stamp. It's easy to agonize over which spa is the right spa, and rightly so, it is a fairly large investment and one you are stuck with for some time as it is not easy to get rid of if you don't like it... I can tell you that the shell seems durable. I bought the white one which has a marbled pattern on it. The jets seem to work fine. We went for the one with only 1 pump and it has enough power to use all the jets and maintain heat in the Colorado mountains in winter. The lights are fun for the kids - personally I find them annoying as they tend to change color very quickly, but thats ok - I don't need them on. The Bluetooth works well and the volume on the speakers is great. The waterfall is also a fun feature. So far we are Loving this tub. We are a family of 5 - 3 young kiddos so there is plenty of room. We have up to 6 kids use it at once and there is room for more... Totally recommend this tub.
This filter fits Lifesmart 57" square inflatable spas perfectly! And at $* for 4, just replace them when they turn black (completely), don't waste your time trying to wash them.
This is a good entry level spa. I live in the northeast where the spa is located outside and the 5.5kw heater easily maintains 104 degrees. The downside to this spa is the single pump. There just isn’t enough power to thoroughly feed all the jets at the same time. If you shut down half of the jets it has enough power to massage but with all of the jets turned on there is not enough power to get a massage. The waterfall is a nice feature and is backlit with led lighting. The spa is built well and will serve the purpose of what we use it for. If you are looking for more power purchase a spa with 2 pumps.
