This is the second pair we bought. The first pair lasted 3 years, which included being left outside all winter. Obviously they would have lasted longer had I taken better care of them. I am 6 feet tall and over 250 pounds, these fi me fine and I float very well in them. In fact only blow up the inflatable pieces till they just barely hold their shape, this will allow you to sit a bit lower in the water. Fully inflated I am almost completely out of the water.
I like the product. However, the kit sold on Overstock is probably a previous year's model as it doesn't have updated sand filter. Please do your research first before purchasing as upgraded pools of this same size and same company can be purchased for much less ($200 to $300 less) than Overstock's price. So, I am disappointed that I paid too much. I contacted Overstock to advise of the price difference and tried to cancel but Overstock had already shipped. Since it is a freight shipped item, complex delivery instructions are not really consumer friendly. If purchased locally, the pool comes in 2 boxes. You could easily get it home in a pick up truck. Also, be aware that the pool sets up fairly quickly but you will be spending additional money and your labor to prep the pool site. Depending on your pool needs and desires, plan on spending $200 to $500 more to get the pool and running. Also, keep in mind that you need to take the pool down for the winter if your temperatures drop to 32 degrees. The pool will need to be stored inside where temperatures remain above 32 degrees.
We received our tub after waiting the entire 6 week waiting time indicated. Nice tub but was shipped with the wrong size top (too small). After daily calls and messages to Overstock I was finally told that the top was not an item that could be found!??? After ridiculous amounts of negotiations and frustration we settled on a partial refund and went elsewhere to purchase a new top. Beware - Overstock only wanted to give us back 200 bucks, but after looking around online I saw that most ran 400-500 dollars. We fought for 500 back and it took almost all of that to buy a new top. Another 4 weeks and frustrated over having to use a tarp (bugs, dirt, poor temp control without top) we finally received our new top from another company. I won't buy from Overstock ever again, but the actual tub is fairly nice. What a fiasco - my advice, use another retailer.
Easy set up with electric pump. Has two chambers to fill. The grandkids and the adults LOVED IT!!!! Holds 4 people easily for heart pounding excitement. They can't wait to go tubing again.
