This treadmill took 20 days to ship from the West Coast to the East Coast USA. I thought that was too long and the reason for only 4 stars. The treadmill arrived in good condition and I am very pleased with the treadmill. Update: It took me approximately 4 hours to assemble this treadmill by myself. I thought it was packaged very well and the instructions were not great, but adequate. Assembly was a chore to say the least!! 12 Mph Max speed and 15% Max incline are more than I could ever use. The Built-in speakers are not great, but certainly convenient if they are all you have. This treadmill is fairly quiet and if you are listening to music, even through the Built -in speakers, noise from the treadmill is barely noticeable. The Quick MPH and Incline buttons are nice and they are all I ever use. This is a sturdy and smooth treadmill with a wide range of workouts including ifIt, with a built in fan and assist lift feature for easy storage. I've used this treadmill many times over the last few months and I have had no problems so far.
I have used this treadmill for the last 2 days... I recieved it over the weekend. It is very heavy and you will need 2 people to set it up. Getting it in the house is the challenging part. Putting it together is pretty easy. There are only a few things I don't care for... the speakers don't go very loud. Also, the LCD screen is very small... but other than those 2 things the treadmill is a great buy. It is solid and easy to use. Isn't very loud and seems like it will last. If you are thinking of getting it. I say get it and use a code with it. This is way better than getting a ****** *** treadmill from *******. I was torn between the 2. I say pay the extra for the Proform if you plan on using it a lot. Thanks Overstock for being so awesome!
Great walking treadmill at a great price. Looked at lots of treadmills and wanted one that did not cost thousands but would allow me to get my daily walking workout. My primary requirement was to be able to walk a varying speeds with out a lot of whistles and bells that I would not use. The Paradigm Treadmill is the right size and price for those looking to do their daily walking exercise. Really liked the speed and mode controls on the handles. After using it twice a day for about a month I'm very satisfied with my purchase and recommend this to anyone wanting to get a brisk walking workout in the comfort of their home. If you're tall and have a long stride you may want a longer bed. I'm 6 foot and use most of the bed at 3 - 4 mile per hour pace. The treadmill arrived packed well in a very sturdy box. At over 100 pounds this 70 year old need a little help un-boxing and set up. Once set up it is very easy to fold up although the compact size allows it to remain open and ready for use.
The ProForm 505 CST Treadmill is a nice at-home treadmill. I bought it so my husband could roll out of bed and get his exercise in before going to work rather than making an extra trip to the gym. Though he says the treadmills at the gym are sturdier and have more features, he does say this machine does the job without the expensive features found on a $1000+ machine. The one-touch speed and incline buttons are convenient compared to having to continually press an up&down arrow to adjust settings on other treadmills we have used. The built-in aux portal to listen to a smart device is another nice feature, but the built-in audio speakers lack quality sound and volume, which is annoying when the noise from running on the machine and the sound of the incline adjustments overpower the speakers. The other mediocre feature is the length of the platform, which is not that long for us. My husband and I are both tall (he's over 6 foot and I'm close to 6 foot). I have to run close to the console to feel like I'm not going to fall off the platform. If I were to start to get lazy in my stride or not keep up the pace, I'd fall off. However, there is a start key for the machine has a clip on the other end that you can attach to your clothing, so if you do fall off, the machine turns off. Three features I really like are the 10x incline, the shock-absorbing springs, and the slated foot rails on either side of the platform, which turn inward toward the belt rather than lie flat. The foot rails have traction (bumps), to prevent slipping off on the side. He assembled it in 2 hours; there were a few steps along the way that were awkward. He needed my help in a few steps: carrying the machine from our driveway, holding the console, tightening screws. O.Stock delivered the machine by freight in a week. The box came attached to a freight pallet. We unpackaged the machine in our driveway; there were boxes within boxes, some styrofoam blocks, wood blocks, and plastic bags in the box. It was a lot of trash, but the machine and its parts arrived in mint condition. I have to warn people with sensitive noses as this machine smells like manufactured plastic and mechanic shop. It's overpowering for me. We've had the machine a week, and the smell, especially when in use, permeates the room. I have to crack open the windows, open the front door, and turn on the ceiling fan in the other rooms. I'm hoping the stink will dissipate with continued use.
