Once received, the telescope was easy to assemble, takes a little bit to focus the laser pointer and get used to using it, but so far it has been really fun. The moon looks fabulous, other planets are interesting.
very basic beginner telescope, but for a first timer is all you need, i watched the full moon eclipse with it and it was spectacular, managed to see mars and some other stars, such as sirius A and B which I wasnt even aware of existing. Now its time for a bit more professional one, in order to see nebulas, and other more distant objects, any advices would be welcome!
(LIKES)-It is nice that the unit pre-assembled for the most part. Very minor assy required and only on basic parts. comes in nice carrying case with scope body and tripod securely velcroed. accessories are all in a nice zippered bag with elastic hold downs to avoid a mess and keep things organized.(DISLIKES)-The removable eyepiece star finder doesn't fit tight. It shifts and moves loosely. The main lense cover fits loose and falls off much. When you tighten down the system for viewing it seems not to hold true and gets loose. For moon viewing not such a big deal but anything requiring precision not so cool.
