Functional Strength enthusiast will have you looking great but, mad broke. Don't pay $2.75/lb for "authentic" Russian Kettlebells. Just be a discriminating shopper. I don't buy things because they are cheap or on sale. I only buy quality. I wasn't disappointed. You WILL NOT be disappointed. My friend has a set of "authentic" Kettlebells that set him back over $2,000. He gripped my set and looked perplexed. "You got these on...Overstock?". Yep! The only difference he could tell was the weight is in lbs. If you are getting into the 80 + lbs weight range. I can't say, but the construction of these is excellent, they have a wide handle which is critical for developing grip strength, and the coating doesn't peel. I've had mine over 4 months. Great product.
The vest is comfortable - it seems to be designed not to chafe and the weight is evenly distributed (easy to carry). I am using it on an elyptical machine - started at 5 minutes per day and have worked up to 20 over a couple of weeks. I could probably wear it for the elyptical workout but am being conservative while I increase the duration.
well coated enamel over cast that looks like it will hold up over time, Having the grips is well worth the extra cost for fast changeovers and moving them around easily.
I bought this for my fiance whose a fitness junkie and he loves it! Out of all the gifts I bought him over the holidays - this is the only thing he actually consistently uses. It's great quality and perfectly priced. The surface is like a basketball so it's easy to grip and we even did a work out together (similar to a game of pass) that was a lot of fun. There's so many workouts that you can incorporate this into. The only thing (and this is really minor) is that when I first opened the box, there was a strong smell of rubber that lasted for a few days - so into the spare bedroom it went until "aired out". Other than that I would highly recommend this item!
