Bought one for my son. He's crazy and obsessed with his Xbox so I got him one of these. I installed it on his doorstep and I was afraid that he might just ignore it. As I observed, the first week he tried it, he was having struggles lifting himself up, though it really is fun to watch what stress it gave him and that disappointment and stress gave him strength and it become motivation. On the 2nd, 3rd and 4th week, he was able to do several reps and a couple of sets which made myself proud big time. All houses should get one of these.
had to reorder. first one came with the foam torn...customer service was great. got a replacement real quick and it was in great condition. very versatile piece of equipment.
My PT recommended this vest and I like it. It feels good and helps stretch those shoulders back gently. I used it for working around the house and as I build up my strength from my injury, I plan to wear it when I speed walk. 12 lbs doesn't seem like a lot, but it's plenty of weight so some may consider 101bs instead.
Functional Strength enthusiast will have you looking great but, mad broke. Don't pay $2.75/lb for "authentic" Russian Kettlebells. Just be a discriminating shopper. I don't buy things because they are cheap or on sale. I only buy quality. I wasn't disappointed. You WILL NOT be disappointed. My friend has a set of "authentic" Kettlebells that set him back over $2,000. He gripped my set and looked perplexed. "You got these on...Overstock?". Yep! The only difference he could tell was the weight is in lbs. If you are getting into the 80 + lbs weight range. I can't say, but the construction of these is excellent, they have a wide handle which is critical for developing grip strength, and the coating doesn't peel. I've had mine over 4 months. Great product.
