I had high hopes when I opened the package and everything was wrapped neatly and it even came with a nice little baggy of tools. Then I opened the instructions. This is where it took a bad turn. First step: set up A frame and lock the locking arms. Yeah, no locking arms were on the A frame. There were pieces for the arms but no instructions on how to attach them. Spent the first 15 minutes getting that figured out. Next step: attach the pivot bars into metal braces... No directions on the extra bolt attached to the metal braces and how to attach it. Figured that out after dropping the whole table 5 times. If you didn't have back pain before you got this, you will now! The rest of the directions kept on in this manner until I finally decided to figure it out on my own and then checked the picture to see if it looked right. Much easier. Then I was so proud of my handy work that I hopped right on. Clamps were snug on my skinny ankles and the directions on how to use it were pretty vague, but I figured it out. Husband came in on my first inversion and said, "Did you know the head rest has a tear in it?" Omg low and behold a tear! After over an hour of piecing this thing together by sheer intuition, I am not sending this thing back and disassembling it. I am keeping it and will hopefully just be able to hot glue the material back on the head rest. I think it is a good table, but inspect every piece once you get it, and good luck with the instructions.
Our 3yo with autism and lots of proprioceptive sensory seeking behavior really *needs* to jump on this. And he loves it! He'll jump on it for an hour at a time. Other typically developing kids seem to love it too. Our nt 1yo bounces on it on her butt and has a blast! I don't think a handle/bar would really be a good addition, I think my kids would just bump their heads on it. As it is, they have learned to jump in the middle and not fall (sometimes we have some slips but nothing bad). Best toy purchase for the money I've made in awhile!
My only complaint was that it came deflated and with no inflator needle, so inconvience of going to sports store to buy one, they were cheap enough that I thought it could have been included
