Trike was ordered and received within a week. Trike is packed in white styrofoam within a large cardboard box. Box had numerous areas of visible impact areas with signs of white broken styrofoam coming out...not good. The trike needs some assembly before use, but some basic tools are included along with the instructions for assembly. I was hoping that the busted styrofoam had done its job and broke before the trike, but I was not so lucky. The main black plastic cover on the floorboard had two of the four hold down tabs sheered off. I was able to use the other two which holds it in place, but it is not tight like it's supposed to be. The trike does come with a small headlight, but no other lighting. I had to add taillights to the back for more safety and an additional headlight for more night visibility. Trike moves fast, almost too fast at max speed. I'm starting to think that the frame may have been damaged in shipping because the trike seems to be VERY unstable at max speed. Like it wants so go right or left but not straight without wobbling? I have to be very careful when going fast because of the un-steadyness. The motor is powerfull, spins the tire easily. Need to mount one of the batteries up front for more weight on pulling tire to lessen the spinning. Trike has a very comfortable seat to use, but there is NO suspension other than leaving the rear tires a bit lower psi for cushioning. I put 25 psi in them, and that seems to be good enough to give a bit when hitting bumps. Last, do not expect the small wheelie bar in the back to work correctly. It is 3 inches too short so I had to extend it out farther to keep it from falling over backwards. Oddly enough, this trike wants to fall over backwards without hardly any effort, so be warned when going up and over small bumps and leaning back. It performs well, goes a long way before needing a re-charge. We love the exploration this trike provides, and with a quick connect on the rear, pulls a small two person child transport with ease, at least the ones light made for a bicycle. It's fun, but be warned it moves fast enough to send you to the ER.
