Did a lot of online research before purchasing this machine. Read the reviews here and decided nit was by far the best deal out there. IThis is the machine for you if you don't want to invest a lot of money in a Pilates machine. It's great.

Ok, first off putting this thing together is a big project..took over an hour but it's worth it. Most pilates machines are 5x the cost and this one does the job really well. Shipping was fast as usual and the product arrived with all the parts in good condition. The best part is the dvd that comes with it. It's just like being in a pilates class with the instructor guiding you through each exercise, telling you when to breathe. 30 minutes later you have worked out your entire body and you feel great! It took a few tries to get the ropes adjusted to the proper length for my body but overall the machine is easy to use and feels comfortable. It's actually very heavy and awkward to get into the open position for use, so if you have the room in your house to leave it open, do so. I'm very glad I bought this sister has one too and we're both getting back into shape!

  • Great product for the price!

I've had product for about 3 weeks and loving it! Set-up wasn't difficult, especially if you lay out all the pieces before beginning. I set it up by myself (although I would recommend getting another person to help). Took approx. 2 hours to set up. Padding on the seat is comfortable, and machine glides without a hitch. On the negative - the footbar is a bit uncomfortable but i've wrapped it in foam for added comfort!

Yes, this Pilates reformer is heavy, but there's very little assembly and I get an excellent workout. I had tried to do all my old reformer exercises with resistance bands but it simply wasn't working out. I sometimes wish I hadn't sold my old reformer, but I actually like this one better because of the size of the sliding carriage. To make the footbar a little more comfortable I bought a set of foam handlebar grips and slipped them onto the bar (3 worked perfectly) and it's so much easier to work barefoot. The was a great purchase at an excellent price...and nobody could beat the shipping charge!

I have not used the bench enough to have a super strong opinion about it, however, I think that it does a good job of working specific muscles. Its seems to be good quality, and I had a very easy and good experience with this particular website.

  • Some good, some bad

This is a great value considering this machine has a built in stand. Love the results I've been getting from doing Pilates. What I do not like about this machine is that 1)You have to adjust the ropes for individual exercises, having to adjust and readjust, which detracts from the workout. 2) My machine had to be replaced since it was defective, but I did get a machine that was right. 3) The DVD that comes with the machine features an optional cardio foot pad that is NO LONGER AVAILABLE through the manufacture. If you want the cardio feature with your Pilates machine as I did, you won't be able to attain that with this machine, unless you build a foot pad yourself. 4) Something rough underneath is causing one of my ropes to fray. It catches when it glides back and forth just enough to tear the little fibers. 5) The glide is not that smooth. WD40 did not help the situation.
