My nephew is 5, going on 6 this January. I was hesitant to purchase this product for him, afraid it would be too babyish. But it turns out to be a great way to enhance his love of animals. Only wish it came with a doctor's coat. This is all he needs!

  • Every home needs this

This teaching phone is amazing, and it belongs in every preschool classroom or home with young children, let me tell you why. The phone can be programmed with your child's phone number, and when he or she dials the right number, he/she can hear a message recorded by Mom, Dad, or teacher. This toy also has a prerecorded message to listen to when 911 is called, so it's a great "dress rehearsal" for what to do if a child ever need to call the real 911. We just received our phone, but I have grand plans for playing hospital (children can call and make appointments), pizza parlor (kids will call and place orders), astronaut (astronauts can call mission control to report the status in the ship), bakery (to place orders), fire station (call to report emergency), house, and so many other ideas are popping into my head, I don't have time to write them all.

  • Very cute, educational and entertaining
    Reviewed at http://www.learningresources.com

This product is really cute. Lots of equipment for the value. My daughter got a handful of gifts for her birthday and this was the one she played with the longest. Unfortunately, it came with a duplicate piece (two ear scopes) and was missing the thermometer (an ear scope in its place, I assume). So I have contacted the company in hopes of getting hold of a thermometer. Other than that, very cute and entertaining product.

  • A great learning toy

I have used this toy for many years. It is an extremely useful toy to help any child learn telephone numbers of family members, but I find it especially useful for blind children. The auditory reward of hearing a loved one's voice when the telephone number is dialed correctly is immense.
