After placing the order from Overstock.com, I received a call from the trampoline warehouse double checking that we understood that the cool mat would be in the green/black coloring option. They shipped it out that same day via FedEx freight. It took my husband about an hour to put it together by himself without any tools. The kids have jumped on it every day since it arrived three weeks ago. It was one of the best investments we have made - especially because we are a homeschool family with six children. We needed a place for energy to be burned in a fun way, and this definitely fit the bill. It is very well built and we expect it to last for many years! Also, we had looked at the other magic circle trampolines that have the net enclosure sewn directly to the mat, but decided to go for this trampoline that has a detachable net. That way, if something does happen to the net down the road, we will only have to replace the net and not the whole mat as well. The net hooks to the springs in a way that keeps children safe from ever contacting the springs when they are jumping.
Wow,why should you spend $**** + for a trampoline when you can get one for just a fraction of the cost? We have had this trampoline for about 8 years. At the time, I did a ton of research since the biggest problem with trampolines is serious injury or death. The Magic Circle enclosure is sewn to the trampoline itself, making it impossible to fall out or contact the springs. The whole thing is very durable. We purchased a cover at the time, but did not use it much because it required taking down the enclosure net, and i was too short to get it back up very easily. It has been in a partly shady spot year round for the whole time. This past year, the stitching between the net and trampoline mat began to fail from the sun and the net became detached. We purchased a new mat and enclosure from the manufacturer and before putting it on, I visually inspected the frame, welds and springs and found a little rust on the welds, but it was still strong. The spring pads were showing wear, but still usable, pole covers are still fine. With the new mat and enclosure (plus new pads for good measure) the whole thing is like new again. So why spend $**** on a trampoline? The value over the years, knowing you have a safe and durable trampoline that you and your kids can use for years. Putting the mat on is very difficult. A single, strong person may be able to do it, but almost every spring needs to be stretched to be connected and there are about 170 springs. I would recommend two or three adults, to make it easier. PS about safety: we have had 1 severely broken arm over the years. To avoid injury, you must enforce the rule that ONLY 1 person is jumping at a time, If someone is coming down and lands wrong, when the mat itself is coming up (from the other jumper) it's just like hitting the ground.
This slide fits a 7 ft. deck perfectly. The wave is more fun than I thought it would be... yes for me too. The slide is strong enough for this dad to go down and it barely moves. The kids start out fast and get a speed boost in the middle. Much faster than I thought it would be. We all love it. The slide has 3 nicely recessed circles at the top so it can be attached with 3 carriage bolts from the top down.
