The horseshoe set fits the bill. They have a really nice feel & throw well. They are solid unlike some of the cheap sets you can come across and should perform for years to come. To me the only downside to the set is the flimsy case they come in. I have to transport the sets (bought 4 total) to set them up for a fun "tournament" each year at the beach, I bought velcro straps to hold the cases together (the plastic clips on the cases did not close well in in a couple of cases broke - To me this this is no big deal and would not stop me from purchasing them again if I had the need for them, and it is the only reason I did not give them an excellent rating. P.S. the gray colored shoes can be difficult to find in the sand : ) - but we recovered all of them - expect the paint to chip as they are used - again this is not to be unexpected.
This was purchased for my son's 3 year old birthday. I have only had it for two weeks at this point. It has pretty much been set up the whole time. We have had two 3 year old birthday parties and it was a HUGE hit. The kids loved it and the moms all thought it was great. It was bigger than I thought it would be. There is plenty of room for 10 little kids to play on it. We have had it out for his cousins and they spent 3--4 hours outside playing. My 20 year old step daughter tried to climb on it and that didn't go so well. It is not made for big people. The one downfall for me is that I have to have it on the driveway, because we have hardly any yard. The instructions say it should be on grass or if on pavement it needs to be on a pad. I am not sure where to get a pad. I have put beach mats, bath mats, and towels under it in the places where the kids land the hardest (bottom of the slide, outside the door for the bouncy part, and at the entrance. This thing doesn't dry very fast even in hot Alabama August. I have not tried to store it yet and am a little concerned about getting the tubing dry so it doesn't mildew. Otherwise, I would say it is a winner. I shopped around for a few days and Overstock was the best deal. I thought I preferred a different inflatable, but am so glad I went with this one. When the weather is too cool for water, we can just throw some balls in there and the kids will jump in the bounce house part. I would definitely recommend this. Everyone at our party thought it was a rental. They were all so impressed that we owned it, if that helps you get the quality. I am afraid of my water bill next month, but it is probably worth it to get the kids outside and off the iPad or away from watching tv.
I bought it to go outside and give him some shade in the Summer. My grandson loves it in the house, or any time he wants to play, alone! Very easy for mom or dad put up alone , and easy to store and take down. Anybody think of trying it on the beach? I'd be interested to hear!
I bought these to create a soft surface for my baby to play on our roof terrace. I bought two sets thinking I would make a 40 sq ft play area. They come in a set of 5, so the only way to create a square space was to arrange them in an arrangement of 3 rows of 3 tiles, leaving one 2ft x2 ft. tile leftover (I simply set them down instead of using the plastic pins that came with them to hold them together. Since they are so heavy, they stay put.) Just something to keep in mind if you are planning a play area. Otherwise, they are very heavy duty. However, they do get VERY HOT in the sun and should be used in the shade. They also off gas quite a bit. I've had them for about 3 weeks and the smell is finally starting to fade. This is normal for recycled rubber, though. We had our first very heavy rain last night and the drainage of the water on our roof was unaffected. I'd like to by the edge tiles but I'm not sure how they'd fit because Overstock does not provide a lot of details with the item. Perhaps this would be helpful in the future. All in all, I'm happy with the purchase. I did a lot of shopping around for something to use for this purpose and this product is what I expected.
