My grandson is 5 and we bought this game because he loves to count money. This game is perfect for teaching how to use the different coins to add up to the same amount. We always refer to the coins by nickel, dime, quarter, penny or dollar. So he always knows how much each coin is worth. It is a perfect way to teach math and adding up the amount in his head. I highly recommend this game.
Actually there is nothing wrong with the item. My only issue was that is most appropriate for adults than children. I had to return it because I needed some games for children younger than 10.
Gift for 10 yr old grandson who immediately loved that it was a brain game even though he's into sports as well. He tackled it after a brief demo and continued having fun with it even other than for travel. Case and small size make it perfect for travel and nice to have something non-electronic for a change. Challenges spatial learning.
