This product works very well, but having a little experience now with this type of binocular I would prefer auto focus. It is well made and has a good feel. even though they are bigger than I was expecting, my lack of experience.
when I sit on my lanai and look to the east -up the volcano- there is a pasture about one and a half miles away. I contains two cows, 5 goats, three chickens and one egret. the scope works wonderfully to follow their antics
I bought the 6.5-20X 50 mm FF II scope for my .300 RUM rifle knowing I would be shooting at long distance. I practiced at ranges from 100 to 450 yards for months prior to my elk hunt in Utah. I could hit a 6" bulls-eye at 450 yards off my bipod in the prone position with consistency. November came around and my son spotted the 6x6 bull elk of my dreams at 552 yards, I just knew I could make the shot. I got settled in on my bipod prone in a clearing and adjusted the parallax. I held between the 500 and 600 yard stadia lines and lightly pressed the trigger. Boom, down elk. One shot in the lungs at 552 yards. I couldn't have done without the Burris scope. Thanks tons Burris amigos!
