This tripod is a little on the heavy side. The controls to extend the legs takes a bit of effort. And there are "O rings" that a between the joints or section of the legs, to keep them from hitting together when closed. One of those "O ring" were missing, bet I didn't feel it would be worth the effort to exchange the tripod or get a replacement "O ring". But it is built well and should last many years with a little help and to keep it clean.
Although I had misread the description, and I received a 1/4" target instead of the 1/2" one I was expecting, it is a nice Metal square target, and will serve me well for years Im sure. I do recommend this target for all handgun shooters.
5/5 legs 5/5 head* I'm primarily using this for video with a little bit of photography on the side. Normal APS-C dslr for photo, but very full video rig (~12lbs/5.5kg). Considering one of the primary uses for this is tripod is heavy hunting scopes, tripod handles my video setup like a champ. Entire tripod is fairly heavy (definitely not carbon fiber), but I much prefer solid and stable over convenience. *Very minor stick when you start but once you're moving fluid smooth. The initial stick is annoying but most of what I need to shoot with a tripod is either locked off or has starts edited out [you can't get around stick short of a true viscous fluid head (Vinten, Sachtler, etc) which are roughly a $mortgage payment$].
