A perfect holder for 55cm and 65cm sizes. Probably works with all sizes, but my experience is with just 55/65. Low profile. Solid one piece construction. Lightweight. A good value.
Okay. First off, this is not the first time that this robot has seen the rounds of being a toy. His real name is “Robby” and he was in the old Sci/Fi movie (A major part in the movie for that fact.) titled “Forbidden Planet.” Since that time, there have been very many different variations of him. I am sixty years old now, I collect and repair toys ("Barbie," "GI Joe," "Hot Wheels," "Robots" and others.) and have seen several variations of him since I was eight. Some are no larger then three or four inches tall (I have one.) and up to about twenty inches tall. They have ranged from the wind up kind (When I was eight, my Mum got me a ten inch, blue, wind up one.) to the battery powered ones. One battery powered one (The one where he is driving a land speeder in the movie.) even sold at a toy auction for about $10,000.00 several years ago due to it being a very rare one to find and working. It would most likely go for about two to four times (Or more.) that price now! They have been named all kinds of names and at the time, (1950s to the 1960s.) all of them came from Japan and now, a rather good portion of the collectable ones come out of China. Second: This one looks good, but the price for a wind up one is rather costly for one of this size. I would pay no more then $15.00 or $20.00 for this one and then $40.00 to $45.00 (Perhaps $50.00 or more.) for a battery powered one that is twelve or twenty inches or more in size. As soon as I see a battery powered one that is made like the old ones AND comes out of Japan as they did before and stands twelve to twenty inches or more, that is the one I WILL purchase! All in all. This is a nice looking robot, but a bit too costly for a wind up recreation of “Robby” that most likely, came out of China. I will wait for a good, battery powered one out of Japan.
As the package arrived, my son is on his afternoon nap. Me and my husband hurried to assemble it so that when he wakes up he would be delighted to see it. All parts were packed well and altogehter. I can identify where to use it for and which part. The screws, sometimes we have difficulty identifying as to which one should be put in a certain part. But the manual made it easy for me to know because they really illustrate the actual size of the screw where you can comnpare them to the drawing if it has the same size. My son is in the stage right now that everything about trucks, he adores. Little tikes has the reputation of durability in their products. This Cozy Truck is of course has it, I am not afraid that my kids will break it something, it can even handle a little bit of weight because my 2year old boy and his almost 4 year old sister will be on it at the same time. She is riding at back of the truck while holding on to the roof handle. Some features: Very easy to rotate front wheels, horn that sounds like a big truck, cup holder at back of the driver's seat. A removable floor especially for little kids to keep their feet safe when your are walking. For bigger kids you can remove the floor and let their feet down for them to walk and make the truck move. The back seat can be an extra seat, or extra space to put toys. There is the little hole for them to pretend that they putting gas on the truck. The stickers add more life and color to the truck and make more realistic, kids always lot to put them on. This Little Tikes Cozy Truck compare to other products I have tried and see is of course the durability is there. I highly recommend this toy truck to parents who is looking for a toy truck for their kids. And Little Tikes always been good in providing good quality and durable toys. The Toy truck stay inside the house in the living room where they always play and bring 'em out when we go walking. Overall, a good toy truck for kids ages 2 and up.
