Simple Step 32.5-in Step for Above Ground Pools
Blue Wave Aluminum/Resin In-Pool Ladder for Above Ground Pools
ITEM#: 16112858The best features of a pool step and ladder combine for safe, easy use of your pool in the Neptune A-Frame Entry System. This super-strong entry system is a hybrid between a ladder and step. It features the ease of climbing like a step with the 7-1/2-inch deep non-skid foot treads, yet only consumes a mere 22-inch of swimming space in your pool. The entry system is made from rugged resin that is U.V.-protected and maintenance-free. Double extended handrails allow small children to easily exit the pool, while a top platform protects your pool's top rail. All treads and platform are non-skid for additional safety. The Neptune Entry System is adjustable to fit pools from 48-56 inches in depth and meets all national and local codes for entrapment. The outside ladder has a self-closing gate to bar entry from little ones or unauthorized swimmers. Side wings protect kids from becoming entrapped under the stairs.

Nice pool steps
My family is really enjoying these steps and I love the safety gate. Some do like that it auto closes, but we use a bungee cord to hold it open when in use, so no problem for us.Read More
Great Entry System!!
I am a 63 y/o woman and it took me about 7 hours to build this ladder yesterday. The instructions were good and easy to follow. I placed all of the steps/risers out in the sun for about an hour before I began and I had absolutely no problem bending them into place. I did a lot of checking and rechecking on every step so that I make no mistakes and never had to re-do anything. This makes the process take a bit longer, but it also ensures that it is done correctly the first time, Adding the pea gravel to the hollow legs (on the side that goes into the pool to weigh it down) was not difficult, but it was time consuming. You have to rinse off all of the gravel prior to funnelling it into the legs, so that process also added a great deal to the total time of completion. You have to add the pea gravel very slowly to the front hollow leg because very close to the top, there is point where it all wants to bottle neck...but adding it slowly and tapping it on the side of the bottle neck with a rubber mallet made that work easily. You have to tip the ladder back toward the back to add the gravel to the back part of the hollow leg, but again patience makes the job easy. I suppose the total time spent on the gravel was about an hour and a half of the total time that it took me to complete the project. I would do it again, as it really was not difficult to do all alone. The finished product is very nice and feels very stable under your feet. I really like the ease of entry that it gives, I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because the very top hand rails seem to be a tad rickety. They feel like they need just a little more support or something, but I still feel safe when using it. I'm just surprised that those rails are not as well made and strong feeling as the rest of the entry system. The bolt arm thingy that goes into the lock is secured pretty well with nuts and bolts, burt the lock apparatus that it goes in to is put in place by drilling holes into the plastic rail and then only screwing it in with four screws. This part also seems rather "cheesy" to me, as this is the main part that gives you the safety that you paid for. I would have expected nuts and bolts for that part for sure..Regardless of those two (hopefully) minor details, the entry system is wonderful to use, easy to build/install and very nice looking. Oh. I also want to add that I installed the gate stop, but then removed it because it hindered the gate from opening all the way to give a little more room when climbing the steps on the outside of the pool. With the gate stop in place, you lose a lot of usable space climbing on..especially at the bottom step where the gate is very wide to keep anyone/thing from getting to the steps from under the gate..Removing the "stop" helped tremendously.Read More
