  • Great light on my AZ bike
    Verified Purchase

Solar powered and perfect for my rides home in the evenings. Doesn't even need to be stuck directly in the sun, but AZ is brighter than most areas.

  • This model don't buy

I could not get it to work. I bought it two bike shops and to a watch shop and no one could figure out how to get it to work. It is nicely built...but, I do not know why following the directions did not make it operable. Possibly newer MODELS NOW DO WORK. Solar lights when this was first bought were evolving.

  • Poor quality; broke quickly
    Verified Purchase

I bought two of these lights and both were of poor quality, so I don't think I received a defective "one off." The solar portion of the light works fine -- it charges during the day and produces a bright light at night. But the small pieces are poorly designed and all broke within a week of use: the clip that attaches the light to the handlebar, the sliding device that allows the light to be detached from the clip, the battery cover. I taped it all back together with duct tape and now both lights are functional, but pretty ugly -- and of course I can't use the slider to remove the lights from the handlebars.

  • SolarPower!!!!
    Verified Purchase

Good illumination for the price. Attached easily to my mountain bike. Got caught in a downpour and the solar panel lens leaked. We'll see how that affect future performance. Only complaint is that light diffuses UP into my eyes when I'm riding. I attached a piece of tape as a lens hood to block this problem. Could use a lens hood or maybe some type of opaque coating on top arc of lens at manufacture to solve this issue.

  • disappointing
    Verified Purchase

I like that it's solar powered and comes with a mount ... however, it is not well made. The battery cover will sometimes pop off when I go over bumps, and then I have to collect all the parts off the street. The mount isn't designed for handlebars as wide as mine, but I don't think mine are unusually wide. The worst is, though, even with 5 LEDs, this light isn't bright enough. I'm going to have to get a different one for winter when I regularly bike at night.
