Great bike. Great alternative to going to the gym. Adjustable seat and tension. Both my husband and I enjoy this bike.

This is a great bike for the money and Overstock is always amazing. Can't say that for the makers of the bike though....very frustrated with their customer service. The tension rod was bent and because the package was in perfect condition when it arrived, they had to have put it in the box I put in a service ticket. I got an email back from them asking for the model number (which I had already sent them) and before I could respond, they closed the ticket. Ugh! My husband was able to torque on the tension rod with a 2X4 enough so that it can be used, but four weeks later, they still need to send me a new rod.

I've been using this for over a year now and it's still in great shape! Cons: Annoying click, and it's not big enough for my frame (I'm 6'5, but it's damn close). Pros: Sturdy, reliable, consistent.

  • Poor Company

Overstock has been great but Impex, the company who makes this bike, is worthless. I've had the bike for only a month and I've spent more time on the help line number than on the actual bike. My right pedal just feel off during my 4th workout. I called to get the "crank" replaced and they send me another pedal. I called when I received the part and told the the issue again. They did send the correct part this time but no tools or instructions. I had to purchase *** worth of tools to only be unsuccessful with the repair. I called Impex back and they asked about the tool they forgot to send and then told me I could buy one off of ***. A supervisor finally said she would "overnight" one to me but it has been 7 full days, and still no tool. I am now officially past my 30 day return . I bought the 2 year warranty plan but that seems more like a joke bc I can't get this bike repaired. I asked if I could send the bike to them to be repaired and they said no. My advice for anyone wanting a spin bike is not to buy this one. The company, Impex, is difficult to work with and they don't stand behind their product or warranty.

I have been researching many spin bikes for awhile now. This is a solid bike, and is awesome. The price is great, and super fast shipping. I highly recommend this bike to anyone looking for a great bike at a great price.

  • Overall happy w the purchase

I did not want to invest a lot of money in a spin bike but also did not want something that would break in a month. This was a middle of the road compromise for me. Overall I like it, although if you are used to studio bikes it may take you a little to adjust. The seat is super hard - definitely something I will replace and the pedals do not have clips. Another item I will have to replace so I can use my spin shoes. So... after all I will spend about *** extra to customize it. I will say that the bike was very easy to assemble and rides well. I've used it a few times a week since I set it up - it's so nice not to have to stress about making a class on time!

Apart from the difficulty of moving a heavy package downstairs to my basement gym, building this bike was a simple task. All the necessary tools are included, the parts are well labeled and the assembly instructions are clear and simple to follow. the whole process took less than 40 minutes. The bike is solid and seems like it will give years of good service.

Questions & Answers

  • Q:

"Out of all the information and questions I can find.. Which is crucial... What are the adjustments for handle bars.. Up and down only our slide back and forth? The seat the same question. Also huge mistake on last bike.... You get a range for height but that doesn't mean squat if it can't adjust to the height you need...I am 5' 3 and lowest was to low and the next was too high. No middle ground... How adjustable at what adjustments does it fit a shorter person?"

    • A:

The handlebars adjusts to various heights. The seat pad adjusts to move up/down as well as front/back. All adjustment settings are pre-drilled and can not be altered nor can additional holes be drilled.

  • Q:

"can I put my own pedals on this bike?"

    • A:

I When I assembled this the right and left side pedals are designated just like a regular bike, so yes I believe they should fit.

  • Q:

"Would you recommend this bike for a 190 lb 53 year old man in good biking shape. Or would you recommend a more expensive bike? Is a bike with a heavier fly wheel recommended?"

    • A:

The bike is designed to accommodate individuals 5ft to 6ft tall, with a weight capacity of 250lbs.

    • A:

I am 180 pound and I have no problem at all.

  • Q:

"I am 6 ft tall is this bike the right size for me?"

    • A:

The bike is designed for individuals 5ft to 6ft tall. At 6ft tall, you should be able to ride the bike with no problems.

  • Q:

"There is conflicting information in other sources regarding type of drive mechanism: chain drive vs belt drive. Which is it?"

    • A:

Looking at the image you see the black and green cover. It is very well sealed with no open areas to see inside and I am not going to open as it came sealed with that being noted here, on page 9 of the parts listing the front and back cover numbers 42 and 43 states each as 'front and back chain covers'. Hope that information is helpful.

  • Q:

"Would this bike be considered suitable for commercial grade, i.e., gym and/or studio use?"

    • A:

No this is not a "commercial grade club cycle" however, it is a good cycle grade to use if working out at home with the commercial training videos.

  • Q:

"What is the height recommendations for this bike?"

    • A:

Hello caramelade, the use height for the bike is 5’ to 6’ tall. Have a great day!

    • A:

Yeah, as first reply.I am 5'7" 1/2 I have a lot of room horizontally and vertically while sitting on the bike.
