This is a great playground! The installation was very easy especially using the YouTube version of the instructions. I did have 2 bolts come cross threaded and snapped when I tried to use them so I had to make a quick trip to the hardware store but it was an easy fix. Our daughter loves playing on it!
We are so happy with the Lifetime Monkey Bar Adventure Swing Set. Although it took about 4 hours to put together from start to finish, the instructions were very easy to follow and all parts were labeled which helped speed up the process. We chose the natural color scheme and it looks so nice in our yard. We have only had it up for a couple weeks but it seems very durable and sturdy. It is fun for the whole family and we are so excited to use this swing set for years to come!
The monkey bar adventure swing set is amazing! We love how simple yet entertaining it is. We have 3 kids ages 9, 6 and 3 and this swing set has something for all ages. We love that this set has 3 swings! Our 3 year old loves the slide and swing. Our 9 year old is obsessed with the monkey bars and our 6 year old loves the trapeze bar and fireman's pole. It truly is great for a wide variety of ages. My husband and I can even swing comfortably. The swing set took my husband 3 hours to assemble. He said it was a very simple process. The swing set does not take up a ton of room in our yard and is more compact than some of the other swing sets lifetime offers. The swing set is very well made and will defiantly last many many years! We chose the earth tone colors and are thrilled they have color options. We love that it's not to bright or flashy in our yard. If you are looking for a swing set I'd defiantly recommend this set! Like I said it's simple compact and has TONS to offer!
First off, this set has already been fun for our boys ages 8-16. Boxes are large so be sure to have a truck and man power to transport. Upon ordering our set, we were provided with a youtube video, however we found we did not need the video because the instruction manual was perfect and parts were labeled correctly and set up went smoothly. We were able to get our Monkey bar adventure set up in less than 5 hours, you do need 2 people as there is some lifting involved while trying to get the pieces secured together. It is a heavy duty set and we're hopeful it will last us for quite a while. The only issues we ran into were the bolt/nuts that hold the set together were at times difficult to get to line up when under a load, so again 2 people are best. Also, there are a few black plastic plugs that fill in some holes that as we were moving parts they fell out and we were unable to find them, we will need to keep an eye on those holes to avoid wasps from making nests. Lastly, again my boys are ages 8-16 and when swinging on the swings, the legs do lift a little, not enough to make me fear the set toppling over (it's very heavy) but enough that we might add straps to secure it down to ensure it doesn't move. Overall the pros to this set out-weigh the few cons we've had so far and we are excited the weather is starting to warm up so we can get out there and use it more!!
We absolutely love this play set! There is an instructional video on how to assemble the swing set, but I found the instructions in the manual to be clear and easy to follow. The best part of assembly was the fact that even though they reused the same sized bolts on different portions of the swing set, it was divided into clear and concise groups to go with the parts that were being assembled. I was able to do it in a several hours. We absolutely love the colors we chose, they are bright and cheerful! We also enjoy that there are multiple swings to be able to be used at the same time and nobody has to wait.
Sturdy, compact, tons of fun. Great colorful play set! The instructions were very clear with pictures and close ups. Very easy to understand. They also have video instructions. The booklet was good enough so I didn't even try that part but it was nice to know it was an option. The hardware packets are well organized and it tells you what packet you will be using. It took about a half a day to get it all set up. Our kids have loved it. The swings are definitely the favorite for our kids, they feel well built and comfortable! The kids don't like to play gentle with things and it is very sturdy. We had two big kids and a little one swinging at the same time and it didn't budge at all, like some others we've used. I like that it is fairly compact given all the different things it has. It's a great addition to our backyard!
So I thought the material would be thicker and heavier than a small metal swing set but it's just wider pipes. You can lift one end with one hand the way you would a smaller metal swing set. It has the advantage of wider and taller pipes. Overall I would have paid $* for the height and wide pipes but $* is waaay over priced.

Very happy with our purchase. It is very sturdy, very well made and we love how it's not that large yet has a lot of features. We also love that it has 3 swings as we have 3 kids - no one has to wait their turn! Something else we really liked about this one is that it is for a wide age range. All 3 of our kids can enjoy it and it will grow with them. I can tell this will last a LIFETIME!
Great swing set - good quality for a fair race. Has everything the kids need.
