Details on the iimportant specs they fail to mention at the bottom of my review. I had an enormous hot tub at my last house, and knew it was a must have for my fibromyalgia and spine pains. I chose this one because 1. People said it was easy to roll into place, and it's very lightweight, 2. It was low priced, 3. It's a hard tub with a REAL lid (not inflatable for either. It's the same good quality of the nice replacement I bought for my old tub). It was definitely the right choice. The delivery people did NOT just do curbside - they were happy to move it where ever I wanted. It was almost too tall (upright) with the pallet to put in my garage so we put it outside. That was not a problem though because it rolled easily off the pallet and into place for us. The hardest part was dropping it into place. We put down a cushion in case we dropped it, but at under 300 lbs my husband easily just set it down. Then we easily shoved it into position. Awesome. This is a 120v tub, so the estimate of it going up 1 degree per hour after you first fill it seemed dead on. It's also a dead on 104 degrees once heated. 104 is the max by law these days (I'd prefer a roasting 106, but 104 is pretty hot for most people.). You should NOT fill it with heated water, or softened water, I assume because the PH would start off so low (that can eat the pipes and cause leaks over time). But honestly at my last house my water was so incredibly hard with high PH, that I would do 1/2 heated, and 1/2 hose from outside to get it balanced so I didn't have to add as many chemicals after it was filled. It's huge inside. I always assume 5 people means 3, but this one I could see having 5. And it actually takes up a lot less space than I expected. The body is a tough solid plastic. I'm impressed with the quality. It also looks MUCH nicer in person - it's got a subtly pattern like a kitchen counter. It has both jets and bubbles, and the bubbles don't actually send as much water into the air as I'm used to so that's nice (less chance of mold in enclosed areas). And they are a nice strength. The multicolored led that you can control is a nice little touch. The cup holders are awesome. Now for the major downside: This tub has one massive jet that goes sideways. And the inside of the tub is very slippery with absolutely nothing to brace yourself on. You can't sit in front of it because it pushes you around to the other side when open. It was pretty funny. If you plan to have a pool party and leave this jet open, plan to get really friendly with your guests. Kids would love it*. If you close it, you can sit in front of the other jets, which are small -making them stronger and targetted. I'd much prefer larger jets I could open. There is one spot with like 4 jets for middle back and shoulders, but the shoulders are too far apart for my tastes, and too low,. I think I may try some suction cups, or even glue something on the side of the tub so I can brace a foot and sit in front of the big jet (which is AWESOME). Second downside is that the jet pipes/tubes are insulated with spray foam. That means better efficiency. BUT if a pipe to a jet were to ever start leaking, you have to scrape out all the foam to even get to it. Hopefully it won't come to that for a long long long time. Last downside: I also wish it had a tiny "water fill line". "... halfway between X and top of the tub" did not work out well - I measured it exactly, but the tub was too full with even one person in it and overflowed with at jet on. With 2 people we had to scoop out a minimum 6 full kitty litter buckets of water because of the displacement. So if you plan to have a lot of people in, you'll need a hose or buckets to fill and empty as needed. The power cord measures just under 12' from the tub. If you needed a couple extra inches, you could probably feed it though the front instead of the hole. Don't forget to try and plan to put this a ggod distance away from outlets for safety (I think they say more than 5'). You can NOT USE AN EXTENSION CORD - it says in bright red letters everywhere. It definitely needs a dedicated outlet. I didn't realize mine was tied to the bathroom, and blew my 15a fuse running a hairdryer at the same time. Cord: 12' Water depth: 21" - it's deep. Check your kid's height before you buy it. Width and Length ~ 74" diameter.Read More
Great hot tub and value
Just arrived in perfect condition. We easily moved it to the backyard pad and everything works beautifully. It took over night for the warmup to 100 degrees and we especially enjoy the Powerful Turbo jet. We couldn’t happier as the price is reasonable.Read More
