I have a vacation rental in SWFL and this works perfectly for me. I can roll it up, put it in my owners closet and I have a kayak available for my use whenever I am there. It worked great to put the kayak in the trunk of my car and go to several different spots to get on the water! It is super quick to fill with air and I love it!
This is a very versatile kayak, with a lot of features. When I say versatile I mean it. my 10 year old can handle it with no problem, as well as myself. its super stable. I can shift and sit in it sideways while fishing. I've seen videos of guys standing in it but I cant (too heavy and my belly gets in the way ha) but someone a little bit more nimble and lighter would have no problem and after some outriggers it would be even better. the rod holders are nice and placed well so they are easy to use. There is a really nice deck on the back for gear. The hull is roomy and could hold a lot of gear in dry storage. Its sealed well. After several outings its dry as a bone, I love the built in scotty rod holder in front as well. It would be easy to mount a fish finder mount in the scotty mount and run the transducer in a scupper hole. I would have no problem with this in a large lake and feel completely comfortable. The shock cord hooks that hold the net can be arranged in a million different ways after removing the net, and the hull is thick enough to add more accessories. Its a blank canvas for anyone who likes to rig up kayaks to the max. At its price point I am not sure it can be beat. Its a great entry level kayak that can get you started and also be used with other family members. The only thing missing is that the skeg wheel could be a bit better. It works but only on pavement, gravel or rocky paths will inevitably cause problems with it, but its weight makes up for it because even someone as out of shape as me can easily carry it overhead to the edge of the water. if you are on the fence....go for it
I bought one of these kayaks about two years ago and loved it. I then sold it and bought a different kayak and absolutely disliked the way it felt on the water. I only owned the second kayak for about three weeks before I decided to sell it and buy another Weber 132. The Weber is a great platform for fishing. It is super stable ( I have never tipped this boat over), easy to maneuver, and the wheel in the skeg is an awesome feature. The storage hatch is extremely handy, and the rod holders work great. Very comfortable kayak to sit on for extended periods of time. The seat is great! You would be hard pressed to find a kayak as capable as this one without spending at least three times as much as you can get this kayak for.
