  • Great backpack for the price

I bought this pack to go on short hikes around the pacific northwest. As I'm new to that sport I was looking for something on the cheaper side to get me started. This seemed like a perfect option. I have two gripes with it though, one is the overall size (which isn't why it lost a star), I'm 6'4 and this pack is fine sitting on my back with just the shoulder straps, however, if I try and fasten the waist band it seems sit a bit high, it's well above my naval and is not practical at all. I chalked that one up to my size and let it go. What I subtracted a star for was the hollow shoulder straps, there's no padding in the straps at all, it's a hollow nylon material and can get bunched up, which then cuts into your shoulders. With that said, I'm still happy with the purchase and have already put about 15 miles on the pack. I had no problems with the water bladder when it was closed tightly.

  • Great Pack for the Money
    Verified Purchase

Bought several for wedding party gift so haven't used it personally. But tired it on and fits great. Plenty of room for storage for day long activites. Comes with the bladder to carry water. Overall pleased with my purchase and I think the recipients of these will like them as well!

  • Good value

I recently went to Nicaragua and used this hydration pack. It work great other than I had a small leak at valve on the bladder inside my pack. Also typically, the camelbak bookbags have the hook where you pour your water in up ontop to keep the bladder from leaking, this one appeared to be upside down or a manufacter defect. I just ran the hook through the handle of the bladder. Could have been a little bigger but most things I carried fit into it. Positive note: Camelbaks you have to buy seperatly a cover for the bite valve. This one had a cover already. I didn't have to be concerned about my bite valve getting germs or dirt on it because of that. It was pretty comfortable. It was a good value. I was glad I bought it versus a namebrand camelbak. Sooted my purpose well.
