Not a Camelback, but much less expensive. It's good for short 3-6 hour hikes, maybe even longer hikes depending on the amount of stuff you need to take with you. For a 12 hour Yosemite, Half-dome day hike, I found it a little small. Besides, you really need more water then 2L for Half-Dome. However, for shorter hikes, I do believe that it was great hydration pack for the price. Just make sure you tighten the tube to the water bag. (They use a screw on tube connector... Camel back is just push on... I didn't realize this till after my first short hike with this bag.) Oh, the water bladder did make it up with my to Half-dome, along with another 2L bladder and a larger bag.
I am a small games and pest removal pellet gun hunter. Sometimes I'm out all day just hunting. I wear the pack and sometimes I forget it's even there. It holds my knives my snacks. My pellets. And of coarse my 2 litres of water. Sometimes I clean and eat my hunts and this pack gives me access to fresh rinsing water if I need it. Just an awesome pack, no leaks. Just great. Well worth what I paid for it..
This pack is big enough to hold your water with room for supplies as well. Yet small enough to not be too heavy or bulky. It appears to be sturdy. It is attractive and comfortable although I may need to lose a few pounds to fit in the waistband. It has several zippered pockets and loops for attachments. Not a bad bag for the price.
