I've been using this machine for 6+ weeks and am very happy with it. The cage is very solid and you can do almost every lift you can think of. There are multiple attachments for a seated row handle, rope handle, small curl or bicep bar, lat bar, cross cable handles, and ankle strap. The bench is very nice and easy to adjust and is comfortable with lumbar support. I'm very happy with this purchase. It's not perfect though so for those looking at the short falls, here is what I have found so far. I don't care for the plastic bar covers that the plates slide onto. I can see them wearing down and breaking in the future. So far no issues though. But with full olympic plates against plastic it could happen. I wish there were more weight pegs on the side to hold more sizes. two more on each side would have been nice so all size plates could be on different holders. I've had to spray the back slide with silicone a couple times already to keep it smooth. Although there are several attachments, there is only a couple pieces of chain and connectors so you have to swap them out each time. I went to the hardware store and bought more sections of chain and the connectors to solve this issue so each attachment is set with the correct length of chain for me. I wish the smith bar weighed 45lbs like a real bar. It weighs just barely under 20lbs so if you're use to free weights you need to adjust your math. There is no good way provided to use the lat bar for seating. This is my biggest complaint. I've used a separate bench I had to sit on. The provided bench is too big to move around easily and doesn't straddle the cage support leg well. The lat bar and machine works just fine but you need a chair or something to sit on that is not provided. For me, the back support for the fly peck deck is a little too far back. I have to lean into the exercise a little but this might not be an issue for others. This is a big machine. measure out your room well. Since it uses free weights, you also need to account for a little room to move around all sides of the machine to get weights onto the back stack and onto the smith bar so you can't butt it right up against a wall. It does take a bit of time to assemble the machine and it feels like the people writing the instructions got tired or lazy around the part where they explain the cable routing. A little common sense gets you through it just fine but they definitely could have been better instructions. Do not fully tighten anything until the instructions tell you to or you'll be sorry. Unit arrives in 3 separate larger and very heavy boxes. Although its got a few areas where I think they could have improved the design or provided more parts, I'm very happy with my purchase and would recommend this unit. It provides a great workout and the pros greatly outweigh the cons.
This bench is amazing. I can't believe the quality of the product for the price. I wasn't sure what to expect when I ordered it (the picture looked good) and was pleasantly suprised. This is very well built with solid structure. I have been using it for months with heavy weight (300 plus) and it is solid. Excellent value, excellent product. Easy to assemble (30 minutes or so) and even came with touch up paint. I have shopped around and found benches of this quality around $500 plus. I am very happy with this purchase.
The CB-12 doesn't take up a lot of space. To this end, it is great for a home gym, especially if you don't have a lot of floor space (like me). There are three pulley stations (high, medium, and low). I tend to use both the high and low for triceps extensions and curls/upright rows at the same time so I can quickly super set my workouts. At 6'3", I'm almost too tall to use this machine for the lat pull-downs. I still get a decent range of motion, and my height is not the machine's fault.
Machine is well built and didn't take too long to assemble (even at a casual rate). Be sure to build this where you want to use it. I know this only makes sense, but the height of the machine will barely pass under door frames. Don't say you haven't been warned. Still, it is easy to remove the top bar and move it if need be. If you have a second set of hands, tilt it to move it.
So far, I'm very happy with this purchase. I'm going to try using some plastic safe lubricant on the bushings, guide rail, and pulleys to see if I can lower the noise. It isn't bad to begin with, but I'm used to full commercial grade equipment at my gym. So I'm just being nit-picky.
I don't think you can go wrong with this purchase. I've only owned the CB-12 for three months, so I don't know about long term durability, but I don't see that as a problem. Add some accessories such as a rope, single handle, and ankle cuff and this thing becomes a Swiss Army knife of a home gym.
I had to assemble the parts over two days. Was not too complicated and really easy to put together. The leg lifting really helps tighten the abs and my roommate likes to do chin ups. However, don’t wiggle from side to side as it will rock with you. Other than that, good purchase!
This is a great leg press for a home gym. It has a small footprint, goes together very easily (about 25 minutes), and can handle sufficient weight for the most hardcore lifters without feeling unstable. I have performed leg presses on this machine with 360+ pounds for over 10 reps (much harder than 45 degree sled press). My only complaint with this product is that it does not come with the olympic adapter sleeves, which must be purchased elsewhere ( a simple internet search will suffice). Very good value for the money as this product is closer to $400 at most other sites with additional shipping. You won't be disappointed.
This is a high quality rack which would meet the needs of all but the most serious of lifters. It took me about 2 hours working alone to put it together. The instructions have a few typos but they're not serious. If you take your time and study the diagrams you shouldn't have any problems. The rack itself feels very solid and has some nice touches. The weight support bars are all solid steel, not hollow. It comes with 4 storage pegs to hang your plates on. About the only complaint I have is that the sleeve which holds the weights for the lat pull is a very tight fit on the guide pole and adds some resistance on the concentric portion and hence subtracts some resistance on the eccentric (lowering) movement. I'm guessing over time this will decrease. The Valor website has some detailed drawings with just about every dimension you'd need to know before purchasing - especially important if you're limited on space. Note that you will need a 7 foot bar with this rack.
Overstock had the best price and it was delivered in 4 days by UPS ground from the time I placed the order. Outstanding.
I wanted a device that I could not only do ab work with...but also work on my lower back and sides. The Stamina Ab/Hyper Bench Pro totally fits the bill for me. I do think that someone is who is taller - 6'+ - might want to be careful purchasing it. I'm 5'7"...and while I can see someone taller than me still being able to work out with ease on it - I think the 6' range might start pushing its capabilities.
Other than than - if you're looking for a great apparatus to get an excellent ab/back/sides workout - I recommend this piece of equipment highly!
My husband and I haven['t had a chance to clean our back bedroom out and put it together yet;however, I cannot wait!!! I have been wanting one for quite some time and can't believe I was able to buy one sooo reasonably priced! I feel very blessed!
This is a great incline bench which I purchased for doing sit ups, etc. It arrived on time, and it took me about 20-30 minutes to assemble it. It is really sharp looking and it works great. The cushioning on it is a plus versus doing it on a mat/floor. Great product!
I purchased this for my son who is installing a home gym....this is a great value and he says can offer more upper body exercises than others that cost the same. It is very sturdy, easy to put together, tho' took a couple hrs. and is working as expected. You will need a heavy weight mat ( we bought the O'stock 3/4 ") under it because it is very heavy and sturdy. It is a great value and arrived promptly as always....thanks Overstock !
This is a GREAT piece of equipment! So wish I bought this instead of the full inversion table which didn't lock and caused my near death accident. My back is finally getting some relief. I'm a big guy 260 6"3' and feel secure in it. My head is close to the ground... about an inch or two off but that's fine with me. Exiting the equip is a bit iffy until you get the hang of it. be careful.
If you're looking for an 90 90 this is the one for the money. Teeter has a DEX I but it's double the price.

Very happy with it serves its purpose very well made. It is perfect for an at home gym.
serves the purpose
not as sturdy as I would like, but works for my at-home workouts.
Good for Cheap Price
A home gym that, after hours to assemble, provides somewhat adequate workout at home.
acceptable quality for home equipment
not bad, but not commercial quality, not like the stuff in a gym.
