I bought this from Overstock to upgrade my racket from my Wilson ncode ntour. One could argue that the ncode is a better racket, and I did have amazing control with it. I just noticed after several years, I had started to lose a little pop in my shots even after restringing. So after several reviews, I decided to get the TiS6. With it being under 10oz, it is so light and yet powerful. It has really made a difference in my game both offensively and defensively. The sweet spot is so generous, that I can get a good bit of power on the shot even on a defensive swing. Everything you read about this racket talks about how much power it has; that is both a good and bad thing. The bad; only real drawback is sacrificing control for more power. The first few weeks, I kept hitting the ball long over and over. I never mastered it, until I had it restrung at 65lbs so there would be less trampoline effect. I gave up a little power, but gained alot of control. I started blasting balls by my friends, that I could never do with the ncode. The good; power and control once you've mastered it young jedi! The sweet spot is so generous, and I have learned how to do some killer spins and drop shots. I love this racket! I understand why its the top selling Head racket ever. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

      Option: 4.5

I have used the Head Ti S6 tennis racquet for years but the original one developed a crack and broke. I was happy to see that they were still being made and ordered a new one. This racquet does not have the in handle damper that the original one used but did include an in-string damper that has proven to be just as effective. I would continue to recommend this light weight racquet to 3.5 level players.

    • Good deal, excellent product

      Option: 4.5

This explosively powerful, lightweight racquet with titanium/graphite construction is great for players with compact to medium stroke styles seeking an extra large sweetspot (115 head size) that blends a nice balance of power tempered with an open string pattern, ideal for spin artists with an all court game

Good racquet. Carbon and titanium mix does wonder in absorbing the shocks. Used to get lot of pain in the arm and hands at the time of serve or hitting shots in my earlier wilson metal racquet. While easing the pain out, it has given me problems in hitting shots as the strings have low tension and get displaced with every serve and top spin shot. Gives more room to volley but you really need to put a lot of effort in controlling the ball.

After 10 years of not playing tennis, I have now played 3 hours with this racquet and am please with the weight, grip, and tension. Thanks to fellow overstockers for the favorable reviews. It's a fine racquet and a great price.

      Option: 4.375

this is a decent racquet with a large head. I found no advantage having a large head and thought of it as a disadvantage with less maneuverability. this racquet's overall weight is light, but the racquet is head heavy. i would not purchase again.

    • Great for slow swing speeds
      Verified Purchase
      Option: 4.125

I bought the TiS6 for my 50+ year old mom. She is active and petite and starting to learn tennis. The racquet is large and forgiving, and the long length helps her reach shots. The frame is very lightweight and easily maneuverable despite it's head heavy balance. The finish and graphics could look better, but not bad for the price. Also the handle is firm, and I put a Yonex Supergrap for more cushion. I tried this racquet and the feel at impact is lively-- the ball comes off hot with a springing sensation. Overall a great racquet for an older player or those seeking tons of power. An excellent value.

    • Excellent Beginner Racquet

      Option: 4.25

This racquet is quite light and has an oversized head. I'm a beginner/low intermediate (female) player, and I find that I have much better control and power with this racquet. The head has an attractive matte coating. I'm using the original grip, which is tacky and comfortable, if maybe a little thin.

Light weight and I am getting good spin, also able to have good control on my serves. My elbow used to hurt with the heavy rackets , with this one I am able to focus more on my game than on the pain. I am loving this racket

    • Q:

"How do you know grip size...is there one that you recommend for females?"

      • A:

Until you try it and you are comfortable, you cannot be sure what grip size do u require but Ti S6 is light weight so its good racket for ladies as well.

    • Q:

"In the options you mention 4 1/8 to 4 5/8 What does this mean exactly? Also what is included with the racquet?"

      • A:

4 1/8 to 4 5/8 is grip size - it means how thick the grip of the racquet is. To choose the correct size it's best that you hold a racquet in your hand as you would do while playing, and there should be some space between your ring finger and the thumb part of your hand so that the index finger of your other hand fits in that space. If there is too little space or your fingers touch your thumb (completely gripping the grip), it means the grip is too small for you. Conversely, if the space is too large, the grip is too large. If in doubt, get a slightly smaller one because you can use grip-wrap to make it a little thicker. If you buy one that's too thick, you can't make it thinner.

    • Q:

"Does this racquet come with a Head "ti s6" racquet cover?"

As I recall, mine did not.

      • A:

        No, it does not.

        No it doesn't
