    Story Behind the Art:
When he was eight years old, Dioniso Quilla began to learn his craft from his father, and started making instruments just for fun. He handcrafts most traditional Peruvian musical instruments, including percussion such as bombo and tinya drums; string instruments such as charango guitars, and wind instruments quena panpipe and zampo?a flute. Quilla uses wood and bamboo canes and colorful cotton threads to imbue each instrument with a Cuzco flair.
