I've had my Leupold 4.5-14x50 scope for almost ten years. It has taken more abuse than I care to admit! From the whole gun, scope, and ammunition falling into the chilly waters of the Beaufort Sea ( it was near the shoreline) and still putting them tight to falling out of a tree while spring bear hunting! These things are as close to indestructible as you can get! Worth every penny! I'd buy a new one but this old one hasn't given me a reason to do so! Love it!
It is a Storm case, nothing else comapares to Pelican/Storm cases, I use it for flying with my valuables in my checked luggage. It has a million other uses for securing or protecting anything that you want to be sure survives the worst kind of rough handling and water.
The Plano gun case is a really nice case for your valuable $$$ A/ R Type guns. It does just what they say . It will protect your weapon from jarring, keep out dust , dirt & water. It recently got itself rained on & when I opened it the gun & other goodies were nice & dry The pluckable foam is a really nice feature ,it holds the weapon snugly& allows you to closely fit almost any size acc. into the case w/o worry of it slamming around while transporting.Just keep in mind of future acc. you might want to put in there or on your gun ( flash supp, etc.) You may want to opt. for the larger case. I really like the one I've got , no problems so far . I use this case a lot & highly recommend for the serious gun enthusiast. the guy that barked about the pressure valve is just a bit toooo serious , Unless you're a Navy Seal or sniper on a mission.... this case is just fine for the average Joe or Josephine taking your toy to the range.
