Earlier this summer, my family and I met for Sunday brunch at a local lake-side restaurant. We had just received our food and not 5 minutes into it, my dad dripped ketchup on his pristine white, pressed cotton shirt. As everyone just shook their heads at him as he started to smear it in attempts to wipe it up, I yelled across the table "Stop! I have something just for that!" I reached into my purse and pulled out my Tide to go pen. My dad was skeptical but started using it mostly to appease me. Initially, the stain didn't seem to do much and I could see my dad thinking it was just a stupid product. After a few minutes, we all got engrossed in conversation until about 20 minutes later, my dad exclaimed "Wow, I just looked at my shirt and the stain is gone! I can't even see it!" Score 1 for the daughter. Nearly 2 weeks after the event, my mother called to chat and mentioned that she was so impressed with the Tide to go pen that she went out and bought some herself. Hooray Tide!
Daughter received Confirmation 2 weeks ago. She wore a beautiful white rayon/cotton and lace sweater over a white chiffon dress. After mass she received many beautiful leis (as is the Hawaiian way). The first lei she got was made with Dendrobium orchids. WELL, needless to say it left a purple stain on her white sweater. My sister-in-law said the best stain fighter is Tide-to-go. We didn't have it here at our local market and I had to wait for someone to go into town to get it from a chain store. So the sweater sat with this purple stain until today! STAIN'S GONE-2 weeks later!!! Dendrobium orchids make beautiful lei, go ahead wear white -TIDE TO GO will save the day! Mahalo Tide!!! Mahalo sister-in-law!!!
I don't write reviews, but after I got BBQ sauce on my new white cotton blouse, I had to tell everyone about this wonderful product!! I have carried a tube in my purse for over a year, but had never used it. This day I had to. I had BBQ sauce run down the front of my blouse and I knew it was ruined. I used the entire tube on my blouse and it looks new!! I won't travel without one!! Thank you Tide!!
This product has worked well three times that I used it previously on students' dress shirts here at the school where I work. It took out grape jelly stains, Coke, and some other random item. However, I spilled tea on my white cotton sweater and treated it heavily with the Tide to Go stain remover about 30 minutes after the stain happened, but it did not remove the stain. On the back packaging of the Tide to Go container it lists tea and coffee as some of the stains that it will remove. Well, for me, for that sweater, it did not work at all. So I am just so-so about the success of this product.
