This is a really bright flashlight, unlike a lot of cheapos that you pick up in displays at a lot of stores. I bought the pink one here and also got one on an auction site that was black and quite a bit less expensive. Great flashlight!
The dimensions were not as indicated. I carefully read the description. These are not the size I needed. Also the on/off switch is not a switch at all. You must unscrew the head so just turning it on loosens the unit. Turning it too far will make it fall apart. These little flashlights are way overpriced .they're the type you usually receive as give away items in a promotion or gift bag The name "Mag Lite" indicates a higher quality. I don't believe these are the real deal.
I'm not quite a flashlight collector, but I do have a lot of them. Until the Fenix 820-lumen LED Flashlight, the brightest in my "almost collection of flashlights" was a 165-LUMEN HD SQUARE-BEAM which at that time was the "best and brightest." It's still an outstanding flashlight, but now the new titleist as the "The Best and Brightest" is undoubtedly the Fenix 823 Lumen. It's smaller than it might seem, but that doesn't affect its output at all. It's a super-bright flashlight, and I'm glad I bought it. Add it to your collection if you have one -- or start one with this Fenix light. Ancientmariner
