I bought this for use with an 80 pound fishing kayak. It seems to work pretty good when I take it to a low flowing river and in Lakes. However if there is a strong wind or a strong flow then it can be more of a challenge. I weigh about 220 pounds so with my dear we are probably pushing 350 pounds. Maybe a 30 pound thrust is not enough for me but I would still like to see a little bit more power. Still, it is quiet and works like a dream other than the slow pace that I will sometimes go. I would still recommend this product however I would be leery about using just 30 pounds for anything heavier than an 80-pound boat.
Rapala Husky Jerk is one of those fishing tools you need in your tackle box. Multiple ways to be fished Kia steady retrieve, start and stop, jerking by reeling and jerking the rod tip in one direction or another direction in a downward motion, this is just some ways you can fish the Rapala Husky Jerk and be successful. What is good about this bait it can be used on all types of waters rivers to lakes to ponds. I like to use this bait over cover and at edges of weeds at drop offs. Overall a great bait for catching a Multi species of fish.
Very impressive tackle bag. It feels like very good quality material. The backpack feature is the most appealing. Plenty of room for all the fishing gadgets. My husband will love it!
