I had two of these for a while and have fished with a couple of more. They are perfectly acceptable reels for most of what I would want them for. They are certainly one the best looking reels out there and they do come in a left hand version. Something that the Shimano's do not.
Probably really 3.5 stars for me. I mainly use this type of reel for either salmon or stripers. The thing that keeps me from rating it higher was I was not totally impressed by it's drag. I feel the Diawa Sealine is a better reel for a lower price. The Shimano Tekota is a much better reel for not a huge amount more money. One thing I hate is that the clicker is too loud and is loud even when it is not engaged.
