This a great mat for me, as a beginner with yoga. I used a towel for past few months and this is much better. The thickness seems perfect; I've used the mat on low carpet, as well as concrete, and it's very comfortable. My yoga is not very strenuous and I don't slip on the mat at all. I've also purchased one for my daughter; she's very pleased. The price was reasonable so I didn't have to purchase from local discount stores. Someday I might want to move up to a natural rubber mat, but, for now, this is more than adequate.
I use these weights all the time. They look good and are easy to handle since they are made of rubber. If purchased in a store they would have been more money. I also received free shipping which made it even better.
How do you review an Equipment Mat? It feels like a rubber compound. It is rolled up tight in the box so, I recommend you lay it is the sun so it can relax. when it has relaxed and will stay opened and lies flat, place it where you plan on placing the AeroPilates Reformer of your choice. I own the AeroPilates Pro XP557 by Stamina. The Equipment Mat is a dense rubber like material. in my opinion it should protect any surface from wear marks and it makes it easier to slide the apparatus across a carpeted floor if necessary ex. Vacuuming etc. the following question Would you recommend this product to a friend? I don't have any friends or colleagues so I marked this NO
it is a thin rubber compound mat it is rolled up in a box so when it arrives it needs to be unrolled and left in the sun to flatten out then place it in the room where you plan on placing your stamina AeroPilates reformer I have model XP557 and if sets beneath the apparatus with about 3"-4" extended beyond the reformers foot the apparatus pictured is not included it does the job of protecting the carpet from imprints and catches the sweat of your labors
