This definitely makes your resistance bands more versatile. It provides a more comfortable way to do some of the exercises associated with resistance bands.
These resistance bands are so much better on my joints than dumbbells. They also give the same result as working out with weights, but you don't get that jolt you get with dumbbells. I would recommend this to anyone. There are so many things you can do to exercise with them.
The name is misleading I have a work related back injury and thought this was a apparatus for the spine when it is actually a core apparatus after it arrived I immediately watched the DVD to see how I was going to correct my spine and the secret is abdominal training core strengthening exercises. I am a beginner with little to no core strength so I haven't really got to use this correctly but, I can review the product construction: It is made from solid wood on the exterior, the interior looks to be veneered plywood and pine slats, this is covered with a polyurethane foam 100% then upholstered in a vinyl nylon fabric, to me it feels more like plastic then leather, all the handles are cast aluminum and the strap nylon. It is very solid I weigh 200+ pounds so it creaked when I sat on it. I did a couple exercises and realized I'm not ready for this but can work up to it. as for the questions that follow I don't have any friends or colleagues I'm an injured worker with a work related injury all alone.
I own a personal training studio and have used several different brands of medicine balls. This is by far the best I've used at an incredible price! It bounces more than a slam ball but not as much as the usual medicine ball that may hit you in the face. It also stays firm with good wrist support when using for stability exercises like planks. I'm very happy with this purchase!
