I got these to to assist in some lower back issues which I am convinced are complicated by alignment issues. First thing to note is that using these as described caused me a bit of discomfort AFTER hanging, but I believe it was just my muscles being sore from trying to hold my back in alignment. There was no nerve or other pain, and the muscle soreness went away after walking just a couple of minutes. Similar to what I experienced after an alignm,ent or even a massage. This does seem to be eliminating my issue for which I am very grateful. I hang for about a minute, do some back exercises, and then hang again. Often I will hang right before and after I sleep at night. The only issue I have is that the preformed shape of the booyt doesnt seem to be the shape of my leg - its slightly oval, but 90 degrees off. Maybe my leg is different than average, but the first dozen or more times I wore them they were not supportive in an equal manner - which meant my shins were sore. The padding IS starting to form to my leg a bit better and by playing with the adjustment they support better and feel very secure. Make sure the bar you are using is no greater in diameter than 1.25 inches.
I had purchased another foam roller which eventually flattened out with use. This has been used for months, and WILL NOT Flatten. It is super hard. It virturually has no give, good for massaging sore hamstrings and quads.
I used it for the first time and my thighs are getting leaner and stronger. Because I do exercises everyday that require the use of my inner thighs. Thank you for your wonderful product!
This piece of equipment has been around for years and no one realizes what a great piece of exercise equipment this is! I got it because I had a total hip replacement in March of 2011 and this is great exercise to build up the inner thigh muscles!
