This is a fabulous very sturdy dollhouse. It is huge and perfect for my daughters American girl doll! The parts were labeled nicely so it was easy put together. You will need your own Allen wrench because if you use the dinky one they give you it will take forever to put tigether.
Its time consuming but that is to be expected. Anything done right takes time. Your imagination is the limit on this doll house. I was a little disappointed it didn't come with the shingles, but I found some and now its cool.
My 9 year old granddaughter loves it. She had been wanting a doll house for her American Girl Dolls, and this works perfect it accommodated the Dolls and furniture.
Took me 2 hrs/day for three days to build alone (I am 5'2, 110 pounds). Pace yourself if you need to, which helped me get the panels in perfectly (bc I was never frustrated). Panels are challenging to slide in. I recommend using scotch taping the panel edges so they slide in easier. Also, read instructions first and highlight where they tell you to tighten screws or not to tighten screws. I did not have a powerdrill that accommodates an allen screw, but I wish I did; I'd recommend getting one. That was the hardest part because the screws were VERY difficult to screw in by hand; I had to use a towel so my hands wouldn't hurt. My daughter loves this dollhouse. It looks beautiful in her room. If you like crafts you'll enjoy this because you and your child can make curtains, etc for the dollhouse. Pinterest has many hints/ideas. I highly recommend this product and if my daughter's room were bigger, I'd buy her a second one (and a power drill)!
