  • Doesn't work~poorly made
    Verified Purchase

This kit just not worth it at any price. It is flimsy and it is very difficut to get the coil to contact the tuner. Also, it requires an antenna wire that is a lot longer than what is supplied. They want you to hold the short wire and be the antenna. Then you can't work the radio. Also, they want you to ground the kit to a water faucet by holding the end of a wire to the faucet. So, one hand to hold the ground, one hand to tune, one hand to be the antenna and one hand to hold the kit together to get the coil in contact with the tuner. So, it will get quite crowded with all of these people around this tiny kit, Junk~~~

You'll even learn something about radio waves, antennas, and wave propagation, if you aren't careful....

Difficult and confusing for most kids to put together for the recommended age group, but overall, a decently made product
