The color selection is great. The balance disc comes inflated but I would like to inflate it more. No directions come with it, but looks like it takes a standard sports ball inflation needle. Comes with a warranty.
I write a lot of reports and sit A LOT. I wanted to make the time I spend seated more "active". This does the trick. Very easy to put together (minutes, because we used an air compressor that we had) and I have been using it ever since. I still have to think about my posture (I have learned to slump on this thing when I am distracted!). I have attempted the few exercises that came with the chair--nothing earth shattering but it does remind you to re-engage your core. The size was perfect for my home office. I have a nice set of shelves and desk and I was afraid that a round, rubber chair would look tacky but all you see when you come into the room is the tip of the black frame--perfect!
I have been using the BOSU ball brand balance/vestibular dome at Physical Therapy. I love this one better. (And it was less expensive.) It is more convext than the BOSU, and so it really chanllenges your balance, and you can feel the muscles in your feet, ankles, calves and thighs firing to maintain balance. I took it to my PT appointment, and the Physical Therapy Tech, played on it most of the time during my appt. He was doing all kinds of exercises on it. It helps to stretch out tightness in my ankles and feet as well. I haven't gotten to do many other exercises on it yet, but can't wait to get them incorporated into my home PT/exercise routine.
