This Kayak is a good buy for the price. I mainly use mine to fish in. Pros: light weight, easy to carry downstream to get to the places no one can get to. Surprisingly durable. I’ve drug this down many rivers without a puncture or tear. The pump that comes with the kayak is excellent. It takes no time to get it inflated. Cons: Paddle is cheap, but easy to break down. Kayak doesn’t track very straight but I didn’t buy it for speed. Overall, if you’re looking for something that you can hike around with to get places off the beaten path, this is a pretty solid kayak.

  • Exactly what we needed
    Verified Purchase

We purchased this same Kayak for last year's family vacation and were sorry we hadn't bought two of them; so we were very happy to be able to get another one from Overstock. The kayak was easy to master - a real plus since none of us had ever used one before. It was used by all our family members, from 6 years old to 68. It was perfect for leisure paddling around the lake and stayed well inflated for the whole week. Not sure if this would be good for a serious kayaker, but for our inexperienced family vacation, it was perfect.

Looking forward to getting out on the water with these. We had the earlier Coleman Version and they held up for 5 years. Friends, family, and visitors loved them.

  • Good replacement of old Coleman inflatable kayak
    Verified Purchase

So much easier to transport than a ridged kayak and much less costly. We had 7 years of fun with our old Coleman kayaks and hope to have another 7 years with this new one.

  • Sit-On-Top Kayak, really?
    Verified Purchase

I am giving it one star because there is no lower rating. Where in heavens can I start? The first issue with this "thing" is that none of the pumps it comes with even fit any of the valves of the raft, I contacted Coleman customer service because I thought I just got the wrong pump. Their customer service was great (the only thing good about this product). They sent me a replacement pump, I got it yesterday... and it didn't fit any of the valves either... I had to spend half day really squeezing my imagination to modify the pump tips to make them fit the valves and be able to inflate the "thing". I ended up cutting the tip of one of the hose adapters so it could fit the smaller valves, then I had to cut the back of another adapter and stick it to the end of another hose so it was able to fit the bigger valves... yes, I am that stubborn... until finally I was able to inflate the "thing". Once the raft was inflated, I was able to realize that one of the two big double action valves was defective and didn't lack from inside... plus it had an air leak... as the air leak wasn't too bad, I decided to let it inflated to see how long it would remain inflated, so maybe it was usable at least for a short period of beach fun time... this morning I found it still inflated and felt some relief... 2 hours later, it just burst... out of nothing, not even touching it, one of the compartments just burst... Even if that "thing" had been free of any defects it had been already a very bad product, it is just cheap as hell. This product is worth no more than $40 - $50, and I may be asking too much already. It is something intended for using it 4 - 5 times if you are really lucky. The PVC is so thin it is not even funny. This is just the worst thing I have ever bought in all my life...

  • Casual Weekend
    Verified Purchase

This kayak is perfect for our casual weekend outings. Very quick to inflate, easy to transport and comfortable seating. The backpack that converts into a seat is a great design. There is a handy mesh pocket for water bottles and a dry bag. The paddle/oar left a bit to be desired. Not ergonomic and the hinges do not allow for varied hand placement. We replaced the paddle pretty quickly. This is an affordable option for the casual weekend kayaking.
