        Hello Puris99, How far you can see is all relative to the time of day you're viewing and the viewing conditions. As for magnification, this scope comes with a 20mm eyepiece, which would give you 35x magnification. This also comes with a 10mm eyepiece, which would give you 70x magnification. This telescope can use up to a 5mm eyepiece, giving you 140x magnification, which is typical of a planetary eyepiece. Have a great day.
