This unit has very solid build quality. There is a built in handle that folds out of the way. This unit works great under a table or desk or in front of the couch while watching TV. The unit is fairly quiet and the movement is smooth. Its great for older people who can use the motorized mode or anyone one looking for a workout in manual mode. The unit has 3 different speed settings. The motorized mode is nice to help you get the motion down before going to the manual mode. There is a display that keeps track of time and steps. The unit includes a rubber mat, but stays in place on its own. A great way to get our blood moving while sitting and to get in some cardio exercise.
I wanted a full size elliptical but didn't have the space or budget. So, I decided to give this a try. I use it standing and so does my son. It works well. It's relatively smooth for a small machine. It gives a good leg/cardio workout. It's definitely worth the price. Easy to move as well as it's not overly heavy.
Super excited to start my rowing machine journey. I'm sure this will be my first rowing machine in a long line of them. Love the simplicity and ease of use. Just set your resistance, pick up the "oars" and start rowing. I do wish the resistance went a LITTLE bit higher as I'm working out at a 9 or 10 out of a max of 12 resistant levels my first few days using the machine. I was pretty shocked at what a great workout it was for my quads which have been relatively neglected the last few years. I don't really feel much after burn anywhere in my arms, back, or shoulders, so that's a little disappointing. I'll keep experimenting with resistance levels and different rowing stances. Overall an excellent buy. A time saver for sure as I used to have to do 30-45 minutes on my elliptical and another 30-45 of resistance training. Now I have a super time saving option if I'm short on time to combine my cardio AND resistance training. A follow up to a previous post: I have no idea what incline he/she is referring too. If there is any incline it would just be that the seat sits up higher because it's cushioned. Overall no incline to speak of. (SMS). For a beginner or rowing enthusiast on a budget, don't hesitate! No doubt there are more advanced machines out there for a LOT more.
