I just got my Tri-fold Pad and i must say... It is so refreshing to get a Quality product NOT made Overseas!!! It came in a very compact package, so I was afraid it was the wrong product shipped! Guess what... within a few hours, the product looked perfect! I used this product to sleep on the patio looking up at the stars last night. At a little over 6' and much over 220 lbs it supported me on my back comfortably without fail. I chose this product because it actually had a higher density foam in it than all the other ones and did not have that cheaper 1.2 lb crap or denified fiber in it. What a nice product for the price! Great job Overstock!
I camped last weekend and it got down to about 20 degrees; I am prone to getting cold and I stayed warm in this bag. It packs up fairly small, comparable to any synthetic bag I've had in the past. It has all the features that I would want in a mummy bag. Incredible deal for under ***!
It is light weight for the size..the shell is resistant to water vapor over nite...the lining is soft and material cotton like instead of that hot sticky misable synthetic plastic junk...it's big enough to climb in SEAL it off and move around sitting up.I can watch tv eat my dinner and play under my light while just in my shorts in freezing weather and still have to have an opening to let out the heat which is good for a smoke attack while enjoying a cig..no more being stuck on my back with nothing to do....I've done this for a long time so when I say it's a good Wigan believe it....
I took this sleeping bag into the Andes for some overnight hikes. The temperature dropped to 30 degrees on most nights. I did not zip up the bag on any of the three nights, and I was wearing a long shirt and long pants. My guess is that it would probably be comfortable down to about 15 degrees, zipped up and wearing regular clothes. Not bad for the price, and about as lightweight as a synthetic bag can get.
