  • Not sure
    Verified Purchase

The seat cracked while my son was lifting and he only weighs 140 pounds. Not sure if this was worth purchasing.

  • Good value, beginner/youngster item

Sane item as seen in stores or other online sources, but somewhat cheaper. Beginner's item, not for big people. Good directions and parts packaging made it relatively easy to assemble. Side arm lifts interfered somewhat with bench press motion but you can work around this by scooching down some or simply leave the side arm lifts off the assembly. NOT SUITABLE FOR OLYMPIC BARS, standard beginner bars only..

  • Way too small to be useful.

This bench is incredibly small, I'm 5' 11" and using this bench was very uncomfortable. My arms would get caught on the seatback adjustment arms while I was lifting. I was also too tall to use the leg portion of the bench. The butterfly arms did not work for me as they came from the factory. They must have miscalculated something, the bolts that held the right side on didn't make it all the way through the arm, and while they were attached my shoulders were too wide to fit between them. When lifting larger weights, the backboard you lay on moved way too much for me to be comfortable. Lastly, any inclined bench presses were pretty much impossible for me on this bench, one I tilted the backboard up my face was located where the bar would rest. For a small person not lifting a lot of weights and willing to make a few modifications, this bench will be perfect for you. I'm only 5' 11" and I found myself sitting at the very bottom of the bench just to use it. I have since replaced it.

  • Not what i expected
    Verified Purchase

It's a very small bench station. I had to remove the side parts used to curl while laying down because i had no room to fully bring them over. It's not sturdy at all. Very flimsy especially with a bar and weights on top of it. It can flip over incredibly easy when the bar is positioned on the hooks. I honestly have to use it because i already bought it but i don't suggest it. These are things you should spend the extra couple of dollars and buy quality even if you're a beginner.
