This is a nice bell, it has no sharp edges I saw some reviewers on other bells mention. But it has a really fat handle. Maybe it's because I'm female and have smaller hands, but it's way bigger than my other bells, I can barely wrap my fingers all the way around it. It makes it harder to manipulate. I'm making due, but will definitely keep the handle size in mind when I go for my next bigger bell.

Functional Strength enthusiast will have you looking great but, mad broke. Don't pay $2.75/lb for "authentic" Russian Kettlebells. Just be a discriminating shopper. I don't buy things because they are cheap or on sale. I only buy quality. I wasn't disappointed. You WILL NOT be disappointed. My friend has a set of "authentic" Kettlebells that set him back over $2,000. He gripped my set and looked perplexed. "You got these on...Overstock?". Yep! The only difference he could tell was the weight is in lbs. If you are getting into the 80 + lbs weight range. I can't say, but the construction of these is excellent, they have a wide handle which is critical for developing grip strength, and the coating doesn't peel. I've had mine over 4 months. Great product.

I am a certified RKC instructor and bought 4 of these bells for my group instruction as 20 lbs is a very popular introductory size. I had some 20's of another brand that remain the preferred over these. The handle is too thick and too smooth for most of my clients preference. It's a quality product but the design isn't quite what my people want. I now have them for back up and don't use them unless my class will be extra large. The preferred kind I also purchased at Overstock for a better price than these on top of better functionality.
