Way off center
Although i've read a ton of reviews on other people's boresights (sightmark, bushnell, etc), i decided to go the cheaper route and pick up one of these no name brand .223 units. They look the same as some of the others, but they are not. If you notice, there are no screw holes in the side of the brass casing. Well, thats because the laser diode is not centered inside, like some other brands are. They just drop the red laser diode inside and pray its on center. You may get lucky with one, but i sure wasnt. Now i know why they look identical, but are cheaper. You get what you pay for i guess. I'll be buying one of the other established brands next time. Especially considering its only a $5 or $10 difference. I blame myself, lol.

Easy boresighting
I bought this to boresight my Colt Match Target Tactical Elite AR15. The case is bright brass and comes with 4 small wafer type batteries. I did the sighting in my back yard, at 25 yds, during darkness. The laser is not bright enough to do it in daylight, but that wasn't a problem. It took only about 5 minutes to complete the sighting, now I need to take it out and see if it worked.
