I was shown this game by my cousin. It looked like it was so much fun I bought this one to play at Christmas with the family. We always play a game after we have Dinner. It's a time to relax and enjoy each others company. The game is simple and ease to understand. It can have few or many players 2-12 can play at a time. I would recommend this to buy.
This a perfect game for my son! He has been known as the "little blurter" since preschool! This is a basic trivia game for kids and adults. Simple clues and one word answers. The game can be quite loud in certain company. The cards are divided into difficult and easy for select ages and educational level. Though this is a great feature it is difficult to play in mixed age groups (parents and children combined). We played the first night as a family (2 adults and 1 child) it was a bit of an unfair playing ground. I then tried this game with a group of my sons playmates and game ran much smoother. I have also brought the cards into the car one day to keep entertained during traffic. My son read the questions to me as I drove. This made it fun for him by being the "leader", it made me happy getting him to read and learn some of the different clues and answers. The next time we played the game as a family he retained some of the questions and answers. I would recommend this game for use of children in some grade levels. I would also think this would be a fun and great game for teachers to use in class. Whether as a definition and vocabulary tool or a special treat during rainy days!
Blurt is a fun game that can be played as individual players for 3 to 12 players or as teams. You can adjust the difficult level based on the age group playing the game. The game is rated for ages 7 and up and this is pretty accurate if you want all the players to have a chance to being able to blurt an answer out. I recommend that if you have large age gaps between your kids, that they play on a team with an adult. The older kids will know the answers sooner than the younger kids which can make the younger ones feel like they never get to blurt an answer out. The goal of the game is to get enough answers blurted out correctly first so that you or your team end up at the finish line first. In the game there are 200 cards, the game board, 6 game pieces, die, and a user's guide. This game is a change from the traditional wait your turn type of game. In essence you are doing the opposite and trying to blurt out the right answer before anyone else. This can lead to a lot of fun and giggles for sure, especially with some of the answers that might come up. Sometimes though, no one is blurting, but thinking what the answer is. The smiles and pressure to think of the correct answer first builds the anticipation in the game. Definitely a fun and good game to add to family game night. Please note that I was provided this game in exchange for my review.
My 5 year old is obsessed with pokemon..and when my 11 year old was 5 the regular headbandz was his FAVORITE game in the world..so when I saw this..it was a no brained I HAD to get it for my son for Christmas.he literally stopped opening presents to play it. He LOVES this game. We have to play it every single day..and we play it for hours. All my kids join in 5,11 & 15 and I play it. It’s great because you can really have a blast. My kids laugh so much while we figure out new ways to describe the pokemon without giving it away. The headbandz can fit any size head they are adjustable. And the directions are very simple for anyone. It’s great for all ages and my Little one gets sooo excited to guess which pokemon he has. I think this was a great idea to incorporate pokemon into a fun kids game. Highly recommend this to anyone with little ones that love pokemon. Defintely will keep your little ones occupied for a long time. My kids can play for hours!
